TUNIS, TUNISIA β In a stunning display of talent, determination, and national pride, Team Nigeria Para-Athletics stormed the podium at the 19th World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Tunis, Tunisia, finishing 2nd overall out of 61 countries. The team clinched a total of 19 medals β 10 Gold, 6 Silver, and 3 Bronze β between June 12th and 19th, 2025, cementing Nigeriaβs reputation as a global para-sports powerhouse.
Backed by the National Sports Commission under the Chairmanship of Mallam Shehu Dikko and Director General Hon. Bukola Olopade, the Nigerian athletes put up an electrifying performance that captured global attention and national celebration.
