The Reagan Memorial Baptist Girls School recently held its 75th annual Inter-house Sports Competition on February 13, 2025, at the Baptist Academy Sports Field, Obanikoro compound, Lagos State. The event began with the arrival of students, introduction of guests, and an opening prayer led by Revd Fumo Adefeso, the Chaplain. The national anthem and school anthem were also rendered, setting the tone for a day of excitement and competition.

In her welcoming speech, the Principal, Mrs. R. O., acknowledged and appreciated the presence of dignitaries, including the Director of Education, Zonal Education Administrator, and the PTA Chairperson, among others. She emphasized that the inter-house sports competition is an opportunity to foster healthy rivalry, unity, and team spirit among the students. The competition featured four colorful houses: Green (Agbebi), Yellow (Lumbley), Wine (Saunders), and Blue (Reagan), which participated in various events, including the march past salute, races, and other exciting sports activities.

The event was a huge success, with several invited schools in attendance, including Baptist Academy and Igbobi College, among others. The day was filled with thrilling competitions, including races, cook picking, invitation relay race, staff race, and parent race. In the end, the winners were announced, and the air was filled with shouts of joy and excitement. The 75th annual Inter-house sports competition was a testament to the school’s commitment to promoting physical education, teamwork, and sportsmanship among its students.
